The 5th Annual Recycle My Cell Student Challenge is on! Students from kindergarten to grade 12 are encouraged to recycle as many old wireless devices and accessories as possible between October 20-November 21. The school with the greatest number of recycled devices will win $500 for green initiatives.

Recycle My Cell, Canada’s national cell phone recycling program, is issuing the challenge in support of Waste Reduction Week, October 20-26, 2014. It’s open to all schools and post secondary institutions in Canada.

Schools can register at www.wrwcanada.com/recycle_my_cell.
